Italian Association
The history of the Italian Association
The Italian Association for “The Ways of Leonardo Da Vinci” – Insieme Da Vinci ETS” was established on 16 October 2018, after an important activity carried out by several volunteers starting from 2015, who in 2016 formed a Committee Promoter of the “Leonardo da Vinci Paths Cultural Itinerary”. Its aim was to promote the International Association and to continue working towards the realization of the Project.
A Vinci Project
The Italian Association has carried out numerous activities in the region and others aimed at the European development of the "Le Vie di Leonardo Da Vinci" project: international meetings, participation and presentation of the project at the Vilnius Forum on 26 and 27 October 2016, sponsorship of events and presentations, and contacts with the Institute of European Cultural Routes in Luxembourg, which led to the establishment of the International Association on 27 May 2021.
With a view to first establishing the International Association and then achieving recognition as a European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe, the Italian Association has provided a rich and unique heritage built up over the years (from the idea of the Project to the logo, the name, the Historical Scientific Committee, the website, social media, international contacts, video, brochure, information material, etc.),
Having fulfilled its original mission, but with the same spirit of contributing to the ongoing strengthening of the Project, the Italian Association still supports the International Association today through its attention to the local area and the community of citizens, and its participation in the projects of the International Association itself.
